Priority Notifications:
Priority notifications will appear at the top of your notification queue, allowing you to access what is most important first.
Siri Updates:
Whilst some initial Siri updates are already available in iOS 18.1, such as the new glow that surrounds the screen edges and ChatGPT integration arriving in iOS 18.2, you will need to wait for iOS 18.3 and iOS 18.4 for more Siri features. Apple is working on on-screen awareness, personal context, and the ability to perform more actions within and across applications.
Sketch style for Image Playground:
Currently, Image Playground offers two different styles to choose from: animation and illustration. However, Apple plans to add a third style called Sketch, which produces detailed drawings on contrasting backgrounds. This style sets itself apart from the existing illustration and animation styles.
macOS Features:
Whilst Memory Maker and Genmoji are already present in iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1, they are not yet available in macOS Sequoia 15.1. Apple plans to make these features available for macOS Sequoia at a later date.
Support for More Languages:
Apple intends to add support for more languages in 2025, including Chinese, English (India), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish and Vietnamese. The first additional languages will be released in a software update in April, with more to follow throughout the year.
Apple Intelligence Support in the European Union:
Apple plans to begin making Apple Intelligence features available to iPhone and iPad users in the European Union in April, including Writing Tools, Genmoji, updated Siri with improved language understanding, and ChatGPT integration.

More Apple Intelligence features are expected to be released in iOS 18.3 and iOS 18.4, with the latter expected in April 2025 and will largely include the new Siri features.
Apple Intelligence Device Requirements:
Apple Intelligence requires a device with one of Apple's latest chips and at least 8GB of RAM. Eligible models include all iPhone 16 models, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, all iPads with Apple chips, and all Macs with Apple chips.
Apple Intelligence Settings:
It is possible to export Apple Intelligence data in the Privacy and Security section of the Settings app. Biometric authentication is required to access and export Apple Intelligence data. Additionally, you can disable Apple Intelligence in the Siri app settings.
Apple Intelligence Availability:
For now, Apple Intelligence is only available in US English and is not accessible in the European Union (iPhone and iPad) or China. You need to set your device's region and language to the United States. In iOS 18.2, English localised in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and the United Kingdom is also supported.
Apple plans to expand support for more languages in 2025 and launch Apple Intelligence on iPhone and iPad in the European Union in April 2025.
