2. Data we may process

Depending on site usage, we may process:

  • identification and contact details, such as name, email and telephone;
  • billing and delivery addresses and tax details provided for the invoice;
  • account data, orders, payments, deliveries, returns and warranties;
  • messages sent to customer support;
  • technical and usage data, such as IP address, device, browser, security logs and cookie preferences.

The data necessary to authorise a payment is processed via the selected provider’s flow. iOutlet does not need to receive the full card number to process the order.

3. Purposes and legal basis

We process data to:

  • create and manage accounts and carry out the purchase, including payment, invoicing, delivery, return and warranty;
  • fulfil legal, tax and accounting obligations;
  • respond to support requests and protect the site, accounts and transactions against abuse or fraud;
  • measure and improve the functioning of the site;
  • send marketing communications when there is a legal basis to do so, including consent when required.

Depending on the purpose, processing is based on the performance of the contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interest or consent, in accordance with Article 6 of the GDPR.

4. Recipients

Data may be communicated, to the extent necessary, to service providers supporting payments, invoicing, delivery, hosting, security, support, email and website analysis. They may also be communicated to public authorities when required by law.

When a processor handles data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is subject to the applicable mechanism provided for in the GDPR.

5. Retention

We retain data for the period necessary for the purpose that justified its collection and for any additional periods required by legal, tax, accounting, warranty, dispute resolution or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
