- A dedicated gaming controller with the Apple symbol?
One of the branches Apple has been developing is aimed at the gaming world. But the path is still long!
Gradually, the Cupertino manufacturer has been investing more and more in gaming content with Apple Arcade.
According to some sources, its latest patents reveal that an Apple gaming controller might be being created. One of the concepts explored shows a gadget identical to the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con: the controller is separated into two parts that can be fixed to the sides of the device. In this case, it could be attached to the iPhone or iPad, both horizontally and vertically.
Supply chains are unstable and when failures occur, losses are very significant.
- Less dependence on the Chinese market
Due to the pandemic, in 2021, Apple was forced to postpone the launch of the iPhone 12 and was also stalled during the device development process.
To avoid being dependent solely on the Chinese market, Apple decided to start producing some iPhone 13 range devices in India.
Last year, India was responsible for 3.1% of all devices produced in Apple's range. However, in 2022, this number is expected to rise to 7%. To become a rival to China, much more investment in the supply chain is still needed.
- Two new Mac computers in June?
This year's Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) could be marked by the announcement of two more Macs with its new processors.
In March, Apple revealed its most powerful processor, the M1 Ultra, twice as powerful as the M1 Max. The processor pairs with the Mac Studio which may not be the only Mac with this unmatched new power.
In June, the annual WWDC 2022 event will take place, aimed primarily at news for studios and software developers. The guess is from news agency Bloomberg, which believes the manufacturer may have two more models to reveal at the event: "Apple has new Macs planned for the coming months. Is there any better place to present them at WWDC?" they said.
- 35W charger with two USB-C ports
Apple may be preparing the launch of the new charger with 35W power and two USB-C outputs, allowing users to charge two devices with just a single adapter. The images were shared by ChargeLAB and display the standard US socket connector and two USB-C connectors side by side.
According to the rumour, the dual charger will have a maximum power of 35W when using only one USB-C port. Using two devices simultaneously will result in lower power of 18W for each USB-C port.
Still uncertain about the presentation of this accessory, it could also be announced during WWDC 2022.
